lord crow, the undefeated

Taking the classical idea of commemorating the great by creating a bust that glorifies the subject. Holding this image up to the viewers and announcing he is great, magnificent and worthy of such an honour. This is my ode/tribute to the nature of crows. How in the battle between human occupation and occupation of nature, they have managed to survive and thrive in the harsh urban environments that we have created.

In concrete rather than traditional materials as it represents the urban environment, strength, a fortified and permanent structure. I'm also attracted to it as a method and material reminiscence of mass produced garden ornaments, that everyone is familiar with.

Lord Crow, the Undefeated is to have imagery of silhouettes of trees and flying crows tracing over it's form, the ghosts of the wild environment.
